Born in Dallas and now rooted in Arkansas, JK Burchett is a self-taught artist who fell in love with the stories and spirit of the American West. After starting in pop art and murals in 2020, he devoted two years to studying Old Master oil techniques and began fusing that classical foundation with the bold color and energy of his earlier work. The result is a Neo-Western style full of Cowboys, Cowgirls, Native American figures, and wide-open landscapes — paintings that celebrate strength, independence, romance, and beauty. JK creates original oil paintings, offers fine giclée prints, and has completed public murals, including one for Pepsi/Mountain Dew.
